Anthony came to America in 1791 with his wife and first six children.
The ship launched from Newcastle, and landed in Philadelphia, 8 Jul 1791.
Anthony and his family purchased a 104 acre farm near Hamilton, Monmouth, NJ
Hamilton is now part of Neptune Township, the original homestead was between
the Shark River Brook and the present Corlies Avenue.
An uncle Anthony Tilley in England was mentioned in letters, and probably
the person for whom Anthony was named.

Robert came to America when he was 11 years old.
Most of his children are buried at Hamilton cemetary.
Robert and/or his eldest John built the larger farmhouse in what is now Tinton
Falls, NJ. The area was at that time a part of Shrewsbury Township.
This area was to be called Shafto Corners, and is just a few miles to the
west of the original homestead near Hamilton.
Isabel:
Her father, Robert Kerr was a Scotchman who died 14 Nov 1805.
Isabel's was raised by an aunt, as her mother (Scot) died young.
