Much credit goes to the genealogy work of two people. My "Starter Kit" was the the article by George Castor Martin published in the Shore Press in May of 1913. The Shore Press is now extinct, but George also wrote a book with his findings of several families in the Shark River District of Monmouth County, NJ. The other major source of information was the book Pioneers of Northern Missouri written by Marllin Field, circa 1984. Marllin did a very extensive genealogy adding the descendants who had moved out the west, incorporating the Martin Genealogy, and even making a run at the English genealogy. This work was a major addition to mine. Thanks to the many people who sent me copies of their personal family histories.
